Project Description:
We are looking for a word press plugin/add-on to be custom coded for our baseball league word press based site. This plugin needs to be delivered in a method that we can install it on multiple sites that we run. Here is what we want to be able to.
1)From the wp-admin panel we want to be able to set up seasons for example.
2011 Spring Ball, 2011 Fall Ball, 2012 Spring Ball
After one season ends we will need to be able to add a second season and so on as time goes by.
We will only have one active season at a time and will need a option to choose the correct season.
2)For each season We will need to the option of adding multiple divisions for example
2011 Spring Ball Freshman, 2011 Spring Ball Seniors
I would like the option to carry these divisions over from previous seasons.
3)For each Division we need to be able to add teams.
When we add the teams we want to add the following fields.
Team Name, Team Logo (unloadable)
4)Now this is where the fun starts. We want there to be a menu/nav drop down for Team List that sorts by the division there in then they can choose their team. When they choose their team from the drop down menu on the main site it needs to take them to their team page.
On this team page I want it to display their schedule of games (to be generated) and to show results with scores. If there is not a score for that game I want a report score button that is only visible by a user class that has permissions to submit scores (ex. Scoretaker)
5)I also want a widget to show tonight’s games and it will display the teams that are playing tonight.. This can be scrolling since some nights there will be up to 8 games. This needs to update daily to show the next X amount of games.
6)Also on the menu we want a standings button that when clicked on gives them the option of chosen the division they want to see the standings for so if they clicked Freshman it would show the standings (ex like in MLB format) W – L – Points Scored – Points Scored Against
7)Now the real hard part. In the backend after we have added the divisions and teams for the current season we now need to be able to add baseball fields and after adding baseball fields we need to be able to add time slots for (example Monday night field 1 – 6pm-7pm 7pm-8pm 8pm-9pm) and for each time slot I need to choose what division that time slot belongs too(this probably needs to be in some sort of calendar format since there are holidays and other days we will not schedule games for). After setting up the fields and time slots we need to be able to generate schedules based on this info. We will need to be able to set options where every team will play each other once….
After generating these schedules they will need to be shown on main website.
8)We will also need a place to approve these submitted scores and we will also need to be able to edit and add scores from the backend.
We have done other projects only to be ripped off by coders on this website. I will not pay you a penny until you show me you have started working on this project. I suggest you do this on a vanilla install of wordpress on your server. After you show me there is some progress I will then pay what ever portion you want.
