Project Description:
I would like a social networking site developed for people in the urban entertainment industry. Main purpose for this site is to make it easy for people to find and connect with the people and companies that can help further their careers.
Would like the functionality to be very similar to Myspace:
Private messageing, profile searching, comments, friends list, media gallery for photos,audio and video uploads.
I wish for the site to have two type of profiles one:
Personal profiles - will be for individuals such as artists, managers, promoters, and anyone choosing to join the community. Profile features will mimic Myspace functionality (friends, messaging, blog, etc) with the inclusion of a media gallery for photos music and additional pictures
Organizational profiles – this profile type will be similar to a “Myspace Group” as it can only be created by a user with a personal profile. This will be for Bands, Groups, and Businesses wishing to have their organization listed as members of the community. There will also be two classes of users associations with this type of profile: members and friends.
Members will be band members, Organizers, or employees of the company of the organization. Friends will request Organizations will not be able to send general friend requests but other members will be requested to be added as friends of Organizattion
