Function to upload an Excel file (.XLS, .XLSX) to MySQL using PHP and some outputs

We have a control panel build in PHP with usernames and passwords for an HR firm. The Panel has 3 levels of users (admin,manager,client), when each type of user logs in, the menu changes depending on the user privileges. (This section is already build).

For admins: it only has the function to create, edit, and erase users, and their general data. The URL field is used only for clients and it is to let the panel know where the clients profile and work process is saved. (This section is already build).

For the managers: there will only have the option to pull the payroll corresponding to a previously selected week filtered by client and week number a simple form is fine. the output will need to be in a PDF so it cannot be edited. The PDF will need to look like the excel file attached (pre-nomina,xlsx).

If no data is found the program must trow a dialog box with the message: "No hay datos de la seleccion"

For clients: Since each client requires a different process all clients profiles are different and we will need to create a folder on the server for each one, so we can save the php files from each client in their respective folders. This folder will need to hold all the files needed to complete the tasks each client needs, the URL path will need to be saved previously in the user profile...

Implement the first client named: Zuribaja

This client has a raw dump from a biometric equipment used to check the in and out of each employee. we need to calculate how many days each employee worked, and their salary based on this file and other info.

In this first step, the client will need to upload the file from biometric equipment see example ([login to view URL]), the first column is the employee ID, employee name, and then each day starting from monday to sunday, 0 means employee was absent and 1 means employee was present. The client should select the file to upload, and he will also need to input in a text field the week number it belongs to, and then submit the file.

Based on this file which will be uploaded every week the software will need to calculate how many days the employee worked and whether it was present on sunday or not. Each time the client upload the excel file the software will take the the client to the next screen which will have to look like the attached file ([login to view URL]).

This next screen will be in HTML and will need to be edited by the user, each time the user edits the form it should automatically add,multiply or subtract to see realtime action, you can do this in JAVA or AJAX which ever you prefer, All fields should make calculations automatically like in the excel file attached. ([login to view URL]). This screen will have a SAVE button for the user to save the edited data. The program should alert the user if he has finished editing the data or not and he will need to confirm to save.

Once saved it cannot be modified, and it can only be accessed by a manager on their history section.

The salary will be default to $78/day no Mather what and it will need to be edited by the user if different.

After this is saved and each time the client uploads a new file, the software will send an email to all managers letting them know that a new file has been uploaded for them to be ready to download.
