Integrate Wordpress into an existing PHP website

This project involves integrating Wordpress into an existing website, built on PHP (CakePHP). Some requirements: 1. You will need to install and configure Wordpress on the system. 2. The blog should be accessible at the root /blog directory, and links should be added to the general site template, pointing to the new Blog. 3. The blog should have the same visual appearance as the website. In other words, you must create a custom Wordpress theme that allows the blog to appear identical to the rest of the site. This is the most time consuming and challenging portion of the project. An example of a previous Wordpress integration is: [login to view URL] The base website is built in a proprietary system, although the Blog itself, as you can see, is well-integrated. It has an identical visual appearance on the main listing (loop) page, the [login to view URL] page, etc. One exception is that Cascade's blog is accessible at a subdomain; you will be deploying Wordpress to a subdirectory (/blog).
