Project Description:
The purpose of this system is to build a faster alternative to uploading products on mass to multiple magento stores.
Functions must include:
• Allows user to mass upload products quickly resulting in products appearing on stores without the additional need to “refresh/rebuild” Magento
• Change product prices on mass
• Change attributes on mass
• Store local database of products and “remember” previous product pushes and “know” to only upload/change products that require upload/change resulting in a better optimized and faster system
• Ability to “grab” images from a URL when a product is uploaded to Magento and “push” images so they appear on the store
• Mass delete products from Magento function
• Ability to backup full product data from Magento with the ability to restore (auto sql dump)
• Mass delete categories from Magento
• Mass delete products and categories from Magento at same time
• Ability to create/export feeds (for use with Google/affiliate window etc)
• Built in “changes” system so it only uploads products that require a change (local database of previous changes) and skips products that do not require an update
• Ability to search products in its own local database and display clear results
• Must have a simple user interface (even if its very basic)
• Must be able to upload to Magento at a scheduled time
• Ability to use system as a site map builder
• Make sure system is well optimized to run quicker
• Ability to upload to multiple stores with different descriptions and different prices
• Multiple category string to allow the product to be uploaded to multiple categories
• Ability to add unlimited attribute sets
• Ability to upload unlimited attributes
• Ability to mass upload/change meta tags different for each store
