We are looking to create the most advanced, aesthetically pleasing real estate website in our area. The site will incorporate searches for both rental and sales properties with a social network for landlords, renters, buyers and sellers. The site will not just be a place to find property, but to find information. This information will include an e-book for landlords (written by us), as well as links to local places and events. The designer should view the design of this site as they would a local newspaper. People can browse property, find things to do, offer things for sale, find interesting articles and info, find items for sale, etc. It must be a DESTINATION site. Not only used when someone needs to list or find property, but a site people bookmark and check back into regularly. We want them to be curious about what is happening on our site.
The site will incorporate (and blend) our two distinct brands: Newport Rents and Kavanaugh Grant Real Estate. Newport Rents was our initial niche brand to dominate the local rental market. It worked. It is too well known and valuable a brand to let go. However, it limited us in obvious ways. We created Kavanaugh Grant Real Estate to service those who enjoyed working with us and wanted to buy or sell through us. While othe r companies seek to “rebrand” we want to take a different route: 2 distinct brands. Essentially, we want to be viewed as two companies operating under the same roof. The website needs to accommodate this vision.
