You will create an online shop for printed circuit boards.

The start page will look something like this here goo.gl/YHmiq and based on the user input the price will be calculated (!!!). Different factors the user puts in will change the price or the lead time, all things can interfere with other things. Also like on the website based on different options parts of the displayed image on top will change! The user can then download the quote as as a pdf file or order the boards. He will be able to upload the file after he defined the boards in a next step.
When the user has ordered the order status will be "In Data Checking". Now comes the tricky part:
We have 5 qualified manufacturers that can now produce these boards for us (we dont make it ourselves) and we will send an email to our sales contact at these companies. In the email all technical details and the uploaded files are attached. The manufacturers are now able to click on the link in the email saying "bid on this project" and they will log in to the website. Now they have to confirm what price they can make the boards for and what the shipping date would be.
I will see these bids for each order and award the project to a manufacturer. The manufacturer will then get an email saying he has been awarded the project and he should start manufacturing. In my overview I can see that the product has gone from status "bidding" to "ordered". Now I will be able to send an order confirmation to my customer through the website as an email telling him that the order has been processed and it will be shipped on the day he wants the parts. The status for our customer will now change to "in production", they will be able to click the product in the shop and see all details. Also this board he buys will be stored in "My Boards" so the customer can at any point buy the boards again. He has access to change his information and he also has access to his order history.
When the manufacturer has completed the boards he will now go on the website and confirm how many boards he has shipped and what the tracking number is. This information is only available to me and not to the customer. I will now have the opportunity to klick that the board has arrived in my facilities and this will allow me to print shipping documents which are: invoice, packaging slip and the shipping label from DHL to put on the outside of the box, the weight will be put in when I click that I received the package. The shop has to implement the function to print the shipping labels automatically. Now once I have printed these documents the tracking number for my DHL package will be put so the customer can see it and the status will change to "shipped". He will be able to see the invoice online and also the packaging slip.
Billing will be done by credit card, invoice or TT in advance.
The website and all functions have to be multilingual for the customer and in the backend.
