Crux: a programmer who agreed to design a custom PHP, MySQL ordering interface pulled out two weeks ago without anything done. I have been attempting to get an Opencart up and running, and am 60%. I need help with finishing the store to be more appropriate for school lunch menu ordering:
1.) Allow only registered users to use the stores. Assign users to specific stores and customer IDs.
2.) Change the ordering system to be user specific and not Invoice specific. (i/e User orders week after week, the orders are not separate but cumulative based on user ID, and when I see an order form, it is for a student with all history.)
3.) Categories are 1.)month, 2.)week, 3.)day. Products are unique for each day, up to four choices. Allow ordering for one item each day (per third level category,) and if a new order is made changing that item, it updates the DB by replacing the old order with the new order. (My thought is by checking the product ID for parent category, and if in the students order history that category is listed, replace with new product ID.)
4.) Some schools require "authorization" before an order is finalized, others do not. Allow the authorization process to be specific for each school (i/e store)
There are 4 stores being developed: three schools plus one demo menu store
1.) Clean up the store to eliminate unnecessary text and links. School lunch ordering systems are very basic in nature, and Opencart in this case needs to be "dumbed-down."
2.) IF in the future, the menu could be adopted in to a 5-week drop down calendar style ordering system, great! First we need the priorities taken care of!
Here is the sites to get a feel of what we are about:

Thank you again for your help!
