Project Description:
Below is a website concept that we have already created the exact design and layout for each individual page of the site including graphics/logo/spacing. We are looking for a programmer with mysql/php experience and a portfolio of current websites with similar database structures that we can view and contact the current owners regarding their experience with your service. If selected, we will provide you with each page as it should be designed with all graphics for the site.

A. Site design

-To expedite the site completion process, we have already developed detailed information with regards to how the site is to be designed along with site functionality requirements.
- Each individual page of the website is complete with regards to design (which is in PDF form) needs to only be copied and converted into HTML.
-The design is simple and not graphically heavy (we can provide page samples if necessary to obtain a more accurate quote).
-We will provide all graphic elements as well as color/font specifications
-A very detailed document that describes links and functions on a page-by-page basis will also be provided with the design.


B. Site Details:

-PHP/MySql based Website targeted at mothers with small children to assist in finding and organizing local activities
-Allow users to create a personal calendar/planner for their children by choosing events posted by local businesses to add to their calendar
-Users can separate events on calendar for each child by color coding
-Businesses can create account then add and update all of their events to their own calendar as they wish including specific event information.
-Businesses can upload their logo as well if desired and create a recurring event planner if certain events always occur at the same time/place every week. When the events get posted to the large calendar/list, the user will be able to see the business contact info, times/dates and event information in a list format.
-Businesses will be able to upload all of their events in bulk if desired (businesses with large # of events) via a single excel file (formatted correctly)
-Businesses can offer online coupons (or coupon codes) for their events if desired
-Set up the option to either charge businesses fees to use our services or make the site free for businesses
------When businesses get charged a fee, set up the option for them to pay either via invoice or credit card (not paypal)
-Allow businesses to cancel event or change event time and send an automatic email alert to each user signed up for that event
-Within the businesses’s account area, allow them to select banner advertising options as well as their event posting options.
-Allow user to search their local area via zip code radius (15 mile, 30 mile, 60 mile) for all events in that range then add individual events to their own personal calendar (include zip code database in the price)
-Allow users to search the events via category
-Automatic email and text message alerts a chosen # of days prior to events on their calendars (set up by the user)
-Allow users to send invitations to friends (both current users and nonusers) to invite them to specific events found on the website that they might want to be alerted to
------When a user is invited to an event by another user, they will receive an email with a general description of the invite with a hyperlink on the email to return to their account and go to an 'Invitations' module on the user area to view the full invitation
------When a nonmember is invited to an event by a current member, they receive an email with a hyperlink to join. Once they join, there will be an alert in their 'Invitations' module that was sent by the other member
-Allow full user calendar function ala Google calendar including:
------view by day, week month or year
------enable recurring events to be placed on the calendar automatically instead of having to do so manually
------allow manual addition to the calendar of personal information not related to the site itself (ie. birthdays, anniverseries etc)
------ability to email yourself a reminder about an event manually or automatically
-Design into the site a structure to allow banner advertising (run by Google Ad Manager by us) of various sizes and function within the site structure once we are able to attract businesses interested in advertising with us.
-When a business creates a recurring event, automatically a 'Group' is created for that event for attendees who are users of our website to join and communicate via a message board
-Allow users to create a list of 'friends' with whom they can interact with and invite or allow other moms to join their friend list based on common interests.
-Create common interest communication 'Groups' for users who attend recurring events together to interact on our site via a message board about their event
-Allow businesses to be a featured businesses within the listing of events by making their listings bold or stand out (for each extra fee)
-Allow emailing to all or selected members by us (not using bcc or cc) which does not allow users to see other users email addresses or info

C. Administrative functions:

-Create a powerful Admin/Backend area for us to control the running on the site including:

1. Within this area, enable addition of advertising info within their account including (ad size, location, length of time, date of expiration, url link)

ii. Sign up for a recurring event – get invited to join Group for that event

vi. Newsletter is available for viewing
vii. Friend invites you to an event (need to include nonmembers and members in this email format)


5. Payment Plan Changes
