Photo Social Networking Site

Project Description:
I am looking for someone to create a social networking type site that will people do the following:

• Standard Account Administration (create accounts, change password, forgot password)

• Upload images and edit them online.
• Users must be able to adjust the size of the photo and overlay stock images
• Similar to sites that you can upload a picture and overlay a funny hat on someone head.
• Users can add descriptions to the image and categorize them (or create tags)
• Users should also be able to create images bases on the sites stock 75 backgrounds and 75 overlay images. I will supply the images you will be to put them in the correct format.

• Members have the option to save the image on the site.
• Members should be able to share their photos
• Members should be able to comment and rate other photos
• Other sites should not be able to hot link the photos
• Users should be able to search using the photo descriptions and tags
• Users should be able to traverse a directory tree of categories and sort by ratings and # of downloads.
• Members have the option to be notified when new comments are posted for one of their photos

• Users can download/print the images
• The application should generate a secure PDF document for downloading & printing. This should prevent users from manipulating the PDF if any way
• ¾ of the page will be the edited photo the remaining ¼ will be the photo name and description along with 2 ads. The site admin should be able to change these 2 ads on a weekly basis.
• All onscreen images should be smaller and lower quality than PDF (deter users from saving the files without site branding via the PDF document)

• Members can send “invitations” to for others to check out a photo
• Participate in a forum (vbulletin forum integrated with site login)
• Each member should get their own page (http://sitename.com/membername)
• Members should have the ability to choose that personal information they would like to share (name,location,age,website…etc)
• Users should be able to report if an image is offensive or prohibited
• A CMS for Articles – Both site and user submitted


• The site must function on IE, Firefox, and Chrome browsers.
The site admin should be able to do the following from an admin page:

• Modify all photos
• Change photo description, unshared or delete photos
• Check for reported offensive or prohibited photos
• Modify user accounts
• Moderate the forum
• View site statistics – page views – banner stats – downloads – etc.


The site should be very SEO friendly. The site will need a banner system so we add banners to the site. It should include a statistical tracking for each click on a banner and how many times a photo was downloaded with each ad. The layout should also include Adsense ads on each page. The design of the site should be professional and be intuitive for the users. I need a turn-key solution that includes all design work and PHP/AJAX and MySQL programming. Must provide fully documented code and install on my server at the end of the project. We are looking for a long term partner that would update the site at an hourly rate.
