The project is to design a petition site. Two good examples of petition sites are: [url removed, login to view] and [url removed, login to view]
These however are large websites that can host several petitions and allow their users to create their own petitions.
However, I want my website to only host one petition. So features such as (categories, create a petition, etc are not needed)
It is still however useful to use these two examples to describe all the features I want.
I like the simple design of the [url removed, login to view] petition page (eg. [url removed, login to view])
but I like the social and usability of the [url removed, login to view] petition page (eg. [url removed, login to view])
So I'll start with the [url removed, login to view] page and tell you all the things that need to be changed.
I like their design, but please don't simple copy it. Be creative and create a nice clean design that is similar to it.
Keep all the features the same except the things I will tell you to change below:
1) Remove street address, country and postal code from the sign form.
2) Once they click sign it will behave like the sign form on [url removed, login to view] (i.e. ask them to login to facebook, to sign the petition)
After which it will behave like [url removed, login to view] and show them a list of their friends and ask them to share it with their friends. (The same features and display style as causes is what I want). The only difference is, I want to pre-selected names to be only their friends from Canada.
3) In addition I would also like the social share buttons from [url removed, login to view] and the facebook comments included.
Other than that all the features of the [url removed, login to view] page should be created. This includes the animated progress bar, floating signup form, recent signatures etc.
All the info gathered should be stored in our database and and admin panel to manage the info should be made for the backend.
Other general points to keep in mind:
a) The site should be a responsive web design.
b) Should validate without errors on [url removed, login to view]
c) You should test the system thoroughly before delivering it to me.
d) There maybe a few aesthetic changes required
That should be all.
I usually get a lot of lot of bidders who bid on my project without reading the description. If you have read the description please write SPW1 at the start of your bid message, so I know you are one of the developers who read the project. I will be ignoring all bids that do not put this in their msg.
