Project Description:
You have to build software and a website that is used to process in-store payments via fingerprint.
A user signs up on the website, which must be beautifully designed and easy to use. They will create a Fingername, and a password. Then, they can add funds to their Finger.
They can then go to any store that accepts FingerTip (we will provide stores with FingerTippers- fingerprint readers- that will contain the software you write) and tell the store their Fingername. The clerk in-store can type the fingername into the software and it will say whether or not there is an attached fingerprint. If not, the user can press their fingerprint on the FingerTipper, and the software will connect their Fingername with their fingerprint.
The user can now go to any store that accepts FingerTip and pay by just pressing their fingerprint on the FingerTipper without telling them a username. The clerk in-store can type in the amount owed into the software, and the customer (the user) will press their finger against the FingerTipper. Doing so will match their fingerprint to their Fingername, and transfer funds from their account to the store.
2% of every transaction will be kept by FingerTip.
