Start-up: Build a basic photo-based social network

Project Description:
What we need:
To build and design a simple social network that is heavily based on the uploading of photos.
We are capable in improving the aesthetic design and look of the website, so this is not too important for the Provider, as long as the skeleton of the design is implemented and can be easily edited by us afterwards.

Basic Brief:
*A photo-based social network website
*Front page has a real-time ‘newsfeed’-type capability (similar to Facebook), which would show new photos uploaded and albums created by users within the user’s networks etc
*Website has a user-points system (similar to Foursquare)
*SEO-optimized
*Users need to have the following capabilities on the website:
- create profiles
- join/create networks (these networks filters the content on a user’s newsfeed)
- upload photos
- ‘like’ & comment on photos
- tag photos
- create (photo) albums
- add friends
- private message friends
- share on other social networks etc like Twitter, Facebook
- gain points for particular actions they do which totals up and changes their ‘level status’ at a particular point count



Conditions:
*Excellent communication skills and spoken and written English
*Work in tandem with creators and ability to adapt to creator’s requirements
*Timeline of 14 days maximum
*No advance, payment on delivery
*Organised back-end design structure (so website can be scalable and have more features added by others in the future)
*Good documentation of the website
*Useful and relevant comments in the codes used
*Excellent customers support & assistance for trouble shooting and explanations once the site has been built - for a reasonable period until stable
*Experience - experience with similar sites highly recommended; preferably provide links to previous websites
