We need an online and in-store ticketing website built, similar to [url removed, login to view] or Ticketmaster.com. The website will be accessed by ‘3’ types of users and the general public (normal Users)
WEBSITE will be hosted on secure server at our headquarters and should have the following basic functionality:
***NOTE: The website MUST have a barcode generator so that ALL the tickets printed have a scanable barcodes to provide some security so ticket cannot be copied or mass reproduced.
***Barcodes for each event must be exportable in TXT, or Excel, or CSV format so
we can use a ‘barcode cheker' – at the event/show – for increase security.
NORMAL USERS – the general public, who will be able to view the website on their computers and mobile devices from anywhere in the country and browse through the different information and services available. For the ‘normal users’ the website will just be informative, (eg: they can check out an up and coming concert, and find out the prices for a bus trip, etc) but will not be able to purchase the services/tickets online, instead customers will be referred to their nearest OUTLET (USER # 2) to make payment and have Outlet - log on to the site, purchase (cash) and print tickets on their behalf.
This is due to the fact that ‘THIS COUNTRY’ has a very small percentage of the population that uses credit and/or debit cards
User 1 : THE ADMIN (C-panel and/or password protected entry)
Manages Content (back and front of house)
Can add or remove event
Update existing events
Can manage, add or remove temporary and Permanent clients(USER # 3)
Can manage, add or remove ticketing outlets (USER # 2)
Receives real time update of ticket sales at various outlets
USER 2: THE OUTLET – There will be an X number of Outlet(stores) which will each have a separate login. Customer will come instore and Outlet operator will log on to the server(via internet connection) and purchase (download and print) the tickets behalf of the customer. The transaction will be recorded on the server in real time.
Each Outlet should have unique secure logging
Every transaction at unique outlet should be recorded in real time ( including event, amount paid ,outlet number/code , operator, etc)
**website should have built in chat where Outlet attendants can chat with Admins at head office for troubleshooting in realtime).
USER 3: THE CLIENT – the clients are the service providers that use the website to sell their products and services. This section is divided up into two subgroups:
a. Temporary clients - These are the clients that use our platform as a secure and effective way to sell their event tickets eg: concerts, sporting events, lifestyle expos, etc
The temporary client will have a unique temporary login page/portal where they can keep a track of their ticket sales, and get real time feedback.
***The admin should be able to add and delete an unlimited number of temporary clients
b. Permanent Clients – are the clients that will establish long lasting ties with our platform and use it regularly, eg: bus companies, airliners, sporting event ( football) organizers, government agencies (water, electricity), etc,
The permanent clients will also have a page/portal where they can keep track of their sales and update prices. They will also use the page/portal as a way of updating their own networks eg: for bus companies which don’t have their own online booking/sales – they can sell their tickets via our in store platform – and use their portal to get LIVE /Real Time information on ticket sales from our Outlet-stores.
Permanent Clients Portal/login page should have a built in live chat where permanent clients can chat with Admin (to change prices, events, date, flights details, bus details etc)
***The admin should be able to add and delete an unlimited number of permanent clients
