Project Description:
We are two DMC's from Tuscany, Italy, joining forces to create a vacation villa and apartment rental website.
We are already active in vacation rentals but not as our core business.
We want to leverage the following:
- our exisiting off and online network of clients (both B2B and B2C)
- our existing off line network of properties owners with privileged access to villas and apartments not on the market
- our huge content with regards to ground and concierge services
We are looking for a consultant to create:
-a robust website, with an easy to use CMS
-a robust back-end and admin
-access to all the latest Web 2.0 techniques
-white hat top of the line SEO
-more languages, currencies
Ideally we would want somebody to help us implement and cusotmize an off-the-shelf standard solution such as Escapia, LiveRez or Instamanager but we are open evaluate totally customized/tailor-made options.
If you know this space and you can let us understand the pros and cons of customized vs off-the-shelf you get extra points...:-)
In a sense we need to be educated on what a TOP NOTCH vacation rentals websites entails and implies. There are some things we may be missing and we expect the consultant to fill in right there. What are the latest technologies, latest marketing techniques, latest Web 2.0 and SEO strategies.... in other words how do we get people to come to our website, browse and book....
Location of consultants not relevant but we need to feel consultant is with us and cares about the project.
