The Website will provide details of a persons "business" profile similar to the LinkedIn/Facebook service and will use the Tripadvisor style process to strengthen the candidates profile. This Website will be designed and tailored to suit the recruitment process making searching for candidates significantly easier and more effective.There will be two levels of service offered to visitors to the site:
(A) Summary Profile
(B) Detailed Profile
People looking for work will advertise themselves on the Website for any type of work (Fulltime, part time, contract, job share etc), in a wide range of selected countries. The website will be tailored to presenting the individual candidates business attributes. Candidates will access the Website/CMS and choose from drop down selection boxes, the business information attributes to populate individual profile templates (One per occupation type- under construction). A range of attributes will be included in each profile including specific skill sets, experience, expertise, availability, references, portfolios etc. Candidates will control their own profiles, will access their account and update/ save their profiles as required. Each candidate profile will contain fields specifc to that occupation type. For example the Engineering and Computer Web Developer type occupations will have completely different profiles to that of the Accountant and Finance person. Each occupation type will have its own particular attribute information. The candidates maintain their own profiles.
Employers using the site need to be able to quickly identify who they need using simple keyword searches from a predefined selection. The Website will enable employers to filter information, making it easier to select candidates.
The Administrator needs to be able to access the Site regularly to add new occupation profile information and update occupation attribute data. There is some free text options that can be found via search and the user selections for each attribute in each occupation need to be maintained by the Administrator. Two Administrators will need to be trained to complete the role.
WebSite will have at least 10 pages which are easy to navigate
Candidates complete the profile template page which is controlled by the CMS
We are targetting at least 1 Million registered members worldwide.
Large numbers of visitors will search and view profiles at any given time, similar to LinkedIn
The profile template will be similar to LinkedIn and will have at least 50 separate fields.
Most fields will contain a drop down selection box. The occupations drop down box will have 1000 different occupations to choose from.
Other fields will have anywhere between 25 and 50 different selections.
It will also be necessary for candidates to enter new information with vetting by the Administrator.
The Content Management System will be accessed by the Administrators.
The following features are also essential for the Website to work effectively:
Email notification between employers and candidates via website
Security and access to content. Confidential information, contact details, credit card details, malware protection.
Some access will be fee based (eCommerce element).
Track website statistics.
Search Engine Optimisation: The website should be accessible to search engine spiders and be coded with good on-page search engine optimisation. The navigation system should be intuitive and allow the visitor to quickly navigate the site starting from any page.
Accessibility compliant: Standards of accessibility contained in W3C WAI (World Wide Web Consortium Web Accessibility Initiative) level A Guidelines.
Must be tested in the major browsers
Propose data storage, back up etc
Can link to other sites such as LinkedIn for information upload
Advertising, expansion to offer other services
