Project Description:
I need a website created EXACTLY like the www.kickstarter.com website & to function exactly like the kickstarter website works.
I would like it developed in Rails and JavaScript/jQuery, host on AWS, use Redis and elasticsearch here and there, and manage code in git.
Skills
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
Ability to code your work (we use Haml and Sass)
Experience with version control systems like Git
Cross-browser testing
Bonus points
Experience with mobile design and dev (responsive, mobile sites, and/or native iOS)
Experience with JS and DOM scripting, ideally with jQuery
Experience in a Rails environment
Using your expertise in SQL and other tools (such as R, Stata, SAS, MATLAB, or Python) to help us understand our site, service, and users
Initiating studies of our website data
