285340 Website design &implementation

Hi, We require someone to design and implement our company website. The company logo is given (see attached) and should be the basis of the design (i.e. colours/geometry should match etc). The design should be professional, modern, clean and fresh looking and the site dynamic and easy to navigate in nature. It should reflect our core business which is Systems Engineering (mainly in the space industry) and Spacecraft Operations. A flash animated intro screen based on the logo should be included in the offer however it is not yet 100% decided whether this would be required so if it could be costed separately that would be good. The site is to be CMS based - preferably Typo3 as we are familiar with that but it could be another if valid reasoning is given. We expect open source solutions to be used where possible. (Typo3 has nearly everything we need as a plugin) We would want to see and sign-off on a mock-up of the design before implementation is actually carried out (.psd or other image format) and we would need the winning contractors to commit to performing updates should the situation arise. (Paid for at the going rate obviously). Any design ideas/prototypes already submitted with your bid would obviously be advantageous All images used must be free of copyright or must have purchasable copyright. The cost of these must not be included in the design costs but authorization to proceed will be needed before any such image can used. Copyright of ALL images, code etc. must rest with our company at completion. Full details of the site content will be given to interested parties via PMB but you should know there will be 7-10 main menu options, up to 20-25 sub-areas, a user management system, a help desk etc. It needs to run on a Linux platform. Examples of previous work is a necessity if you wish to be considered.
