Website design

I presently have a website...that was built using Yahoo sitebuilder and I am currently looking for a revamp...using WordPress...I would like to include some blogging features...as well as to make it mobile (phone/tablet) friendly... I would like to still be in control of the site meaning I would like to be able to make changes (on my own) as needed at spur of the moment's notice...i.e. specials...adding new items...removing items...etc...
