I have a website where the consumer 1) chose one product a time >> 2)customize the product with accessories (each product, one different url, mysite.com/brand/productname) >> 3)complete a form with his personal details and payment options 4) thank you / please evaluate us
In the home website, a big form is in the centre. As the user spells his product name or the brand name + product name, a drop down list is shown, to help the user select the desired product. All the products are shown as BRAND PRODUCT (eg: SAMSUNG GALAXY). So, if the user spells G-A-L, he will probably be shown his desired phone, and if he starts spelling the brand name S-A-M-S, the same will happen, but other models will appears first, and as he spells the desired model will remain. This is working now, but if you write down a brand name, we will show you a default search results page, as if you were looking for something called SAMSUNG, we will shoe you all SAMSUNG products.
We need to create BRAND pages, following one single template. So, if the user wants to see all the products for one brand, he will be able to select that brand in the drop down menu (above it's own products listed), and will be taken not to a search results page (www.mypage.com/search/brandnamespelled), but to a page with more images and texts regarding that brand (www.mysite.com/brand).
For that, in the admin panel, when adding a Brand (and in all existing brand pages), there should be space to add images and text to the template URL generated, where we would say and show the brand, and also the search results showing its available products.
