Project Description:
I run an ezine for DJs (http://shejay.net) which has been running on a bespoke (but very old and buggy) CMS for a few years and we want to make the switch to WordPress. In short, we need the WordPress site to work in the same way as our current site with some slight modifications to how the content is laid out and navigated.
We have begun using a pre-built theme ("Structure Theme" from OrganicThemes.com). This theme has all the editorial functionality we need such reviews, articles, blog style posts (see our work in progress: http://kreatism.com/_WP/) - but there is functionality we need that it doesn't have.
For example: Our site has an advanced user profile area (http://shejay.net/artists.php) - where users can create their own artists profile, which includes bio, photos, chart, gigs, etc.... This theme doesn't have anything like this so we need to hard code this functionality in. Additionally, would also like the ability for users to "follow" artists, and for the artists followers to be tallied on their profile pages.
