ABOUT THE PROJECT
I need a dependable, clean-coding web developer to create a Yelp-like post type based on specifications provided. This project has the opportunity to grow into a solid relationship between the right web developer(s) and our company. We simply have too many web initiatives going on right now for me to complete this project in the time frame requested.
This will be built out on a test site, and no access will be granted to website passwords, ftp info, social accounts or any other sensitive company information.
*A lot of our users are mobile, this is imperative. The design needs to be modern, clean and easy to navigate on mobile, tablet and desktop. Look at the Gumby framework UI elements for direction
Non-incremental, pre-assigned post IDs
*The post id will be set equal to a column in a csv
CSV importer to MySQL
*Import posts and associated post meta (10-15 fields, maybe more). We need to be able to update rows in the table based on role capabilities.
*Claimed and premium user roles will have access to a listing editor, but 'claimed' will see certain areas locked with a call to action to upgrade.
*Unlike yelp, we'll need a block rating system with 5 star ratings. We'll also need a block rating average function as well as functions averaging the individual ratings. Here's a quick, made up example:
Service [ 1-5 stars ]
Honesty [ 1-5 stars ]
Timeliness [ 1-5 stars ]
Price [ 1-5 stars ]
Value [ 1-5 stars ]
We would need an 'average' function for all five of the five start ratings (block average)
We also need 'averages' functions for the individual ratings (average honesty rating, for example)
Google Schema/Rich snippets for reviews
Unclaimed - admin as user/author
After all pages are initially loaded, only unclaimed pages will need to be updated by the csv import/update in the future.
Free Listing (claimed)
Certain areas in the edit screen will be available to free managed listings, others visibly locked with an upgrade option. The public-facing page will say: This listing has not been claimed or something to that effect.
Premium Listing (claimed)
All areas of the edit screen and all areas of the public-facing listing page are visible and editable
Registered Reviewer/Review Reader
Must be logged in via Facebook (need Facebook social sign-in and wp_register to work concurrently. Registered role can see all of the listing page.
Visibly locked out of certain content areas.
