Project Description:
The kind of help I need for my project is very straightforward: I need my users to have the ability to make audio and video recordings in Wordpress, specifically as a response to assignments in an LMS structure like Scholarpress Courseware. The interface needs to be very user friendly and kid-oriented. Teachers will need the ability to work within the LMS independently of other teachers and have only their classes, lectures, and assignments visible to them and their students. I'd also need the "Achievements" plugin or something similar connected with assignment submissions so that students can earn points/badges for completing certain tasks. The teacher could decide whether a student has completed assignments sufficiently to earn a badge.
I have found many plugins that satisfy all of these requirements, however, none that allow you to post recorded audio and/or video as an assignment in an LMS structure. I'm very close to being able to do it with the All-In-One-Video plugin, however, it ultimately doesn't allow me to record something as a response to an assignment...plus it doesn't allow me to database the recording in my own database. The All-in-One CE plugin does allow you to database in your own database but I don't possess the necessary coding skills to do it myself (obviously, or I would've done it already). For audio, there are several plugins that exist such as Wami recorder. I'm not looking for my own custom-made plugins, just modifications to existing ones.
