Project Description:
To create a theme that has interchangeable headers, body, sidebar and footer elements. Users would be able to either pick and choose elements or hit the Spin button and the theme would randomly combine the different elements. The width and colors would be controlled by pre-defined templates that will force the various elements to match up and use complimentary color schemes.
The theme would offer niche marketers a never ending supply of clean, streamlined themes for use with their sites.
Features:
Admin Panel:
1. Spin button: allows users to create a new theme on demand. This “theme revision” is also then editable with the below features.
2. Custom Logo’s: Create Cufon Font Logo’s on demand.
3. Select your own colors (set all colors, or select from pre-defined color schemes).
4. Select your body width (also affects header/footer etc).
5. Select Body Background / Textures
6. Select your own footer/header/body layout (columns/sidebars), footers.
7. Select Navigation Style.
8. Text box for inserting your Copyright Information.
9. Text box for adding your own Tracking Codes.
Look and feel:
First round of theme elements should be modeled off other popular Magazine Style themes. Phase 2 will implement other “families” of elements. Users can select a style family when spinning the theme. Examples of families styles are: offline marketing, affiliate style site, AdSense site, etc.
