1. The system must require the staff to enter their ID and an assigned password before using the system. Upon login, the system shall display the user’s actual name on the system’s user interface.
2. The system must have the following functionalities:
a. New Reservation where patrons who wish to reserve seats are required to provide their contact details in the system. Customers may select the seat location which is categorized into VIP (first 6 rows from the stage), Preferential (7th row to the 10th row) and General (11th row to 14th row) sections. The price for the VIP seat is RM120, for the Preferential seat is RM80 and the General seat is RM50. Each row may have 20 seats. Upon successful reservation, the system will generate a unique reservation code for patron to use when collecting tickets.
b. Cancel Reservation where patrons may cancel the reservation for a concert booked. The patron should provide the reservation identification number so that the staff can locate the reservation in the system. Patrons can cancel a reservation 48 hours (2 days) prior to the concert. However, a penalty of 15 percent of the ticket price will be charged if the patron cancelled the reservation on the day of the concert.
c. Produce a report of all patrons attending concerts for the week which should include the First Name, Last Name and Concert Date grouped by the name of the concert. At the end of the report, the total patrons for each concert are calculated using the reporting feature. You will need to use the reporting feature in Visual Studio for the report.
