Our company has a user community forum which has been active for about 3.5 years with 800+ registered users. We want to expand its functionality to accommodate multiple usergroups, banner advertising, multiple user levels, and, at the same time, update the look-and-feel of the design. I cannot send you a link to the site yet as this would violate the rules of "GetaFreelancer.com". But I copied this from the bottom of one of the pages so you would know whether you are familiar with this version of phpBB.

I am familiar with the community forum that supports this software at http://www.phpbb.com/community/ and have made some updates and edits to our system on my own. However, I do not have the time nor the expertise to make these changes quickly and efficiently. I also don't want to "break" the system by tinkering with it myself.
I would like to work with someone on an ongoing basis, come up with an hourly rate, and establish enough trust that we know we are being fair to each other. But I don't think it will be possible to do this piecemeal -- me asking for this and that and then getting incremental charges. Instead, I am more comfortable with you compiling your time, keeping me up to date on how many hours you have spent, then invoicing me at reasonable -- 2 hours, 5 hours, 10 hours, whatever -- intervals.
As soon as I've answered any questions you may have and we make a decision to get started, I would send you a detailed list of my requests so that you can make the edits all at once without waiting on new requests from me.
IMPORTANT! I need someone who can move on this quickly, even to make some edits by tomorrow afternoon, if possible. Everything else would be an ongoing thing -- next couple weeks or so -- but there are a couple of customizations I need made immediately. For example, I was able to create several new usergroups, but our template does not list them on the main page and I don't know how to start a conversation in them. If you could do that quickly, like tonight or in the morning, then you are golden and I'll send you lots more work. :) I have attached a screenshot of our forum (removing identifiable words and names).
