I have a filemaker database that only has one table, and I need it recreated in a website format so that when I go to my website, I can query, sort, and edit certain fields. I have already exported that database to CSV format, and then used a mysql app on godaddy to build a table and import all the records from that csv file. But now I need website pages/files that allow me to interact with that database. godaddy provided a sample php code that i was able to make work, but it's very plain and non-interactive.
I would like to (as an end user of the website), be able to sort and query the entire database, and to edit 2 specific fields. This table has 142 fields and 99,700 records. I have attached a screenshot of the filemaker layout, looking the way I like it, for the most part.
I have also attached the sample php file that was given to me. Filemaker lets me export into a few different formats and an HTML table is one of those formats. I just did a few records to see what would happen and you can see both of my html table and my php webpage at the following 2 links:
I have a free web hosting account with godaddy.com that allows me to use php and mysql, problem is, I don't know anything about either one of those. I did manage to do a little bit but I need help.
I need someone to create the files that I need to make my website work the way I want it to, I will pay you to create those files and send them to me, I will then upload them to my hosting account. If I need to make changes in my hosting account or in the structure of my database, then I will pay you for a detailed step by step set of instructions on what I need to do, and I will make those changes.
I am very limited on money and I'm only doing this as a hobby for me and my wife so that we can pick a baby name. So the simpler the solution, the cheaper it will probably be for me. If simple means less functionality, i'm ok with that. You could bid on doing it the cheapest way and then send me a message or put it in your bid, the pros and cons of 2 or 3 different ways of doing it and the price differences, if you wish.
