My friends and I are looking for a web designer with PHP knowledge who is interested in building a website for us.
Due to confidentiality reasons, I am not able to fully disclose the nature of the project until we have agreed to work together .
The description below is fairly accurate for what we want to do but uses an example to explain what we need (we are not actually rating restaurants).
Page n 1
The first page is a welcome page: it will have some information on the scope of the website and 4 "click buttons" that will re-direct users to other pages
This is the page that opens up with the first "click button". It will have some sort of log-in/email verification feature as we need to make sure that users complete the survey only once. Once the identity is verified users will be able to complete the survey. Imagine a "rate a restaurant" type of structure. Each user logs in, enters the name of the restaurant and then completes the survey by rating the place from 1 to 5 on a number of parameters. The website has to be able to collect all the ratings for each restaurant from different users and average them out.
This page opens up from the second "click button" from the home page. This will be another survey that each user completes: it is a sort of self-awareness survey. For example, imagine we ask users what they feel like eating (sushi or pizza or whatever), how much they want to spend, and how far they’re willing to drive.
Based on the answers from the self-awareness survey from page3 the website will search the database (generated from the survey in page2) and provide a list of restaurants that matches what the user is seeking. Each restaurant is "clickable."
Page n 5
This page opens either from the home-page (3rd button) or from page n4. Users are either able to search the database (generated from the survey on page n 2) with the name of the restaurant, or they are given a name based on page n4. Either way, when they click on the name of the restaurant, they open a page that lets them visualize the results of the survey (each parameter evaluated, the average rating, and the number of people that voted) for the establishment of interest.
Page n 6
This page opens up from the 4th click button from the home page. It is a static page with tips and advice.
