I have several files I need to PGP and then FTP on a daily basis via a DOS batch file. I already have been doing this for several other vendors but this one is special in that I don't know the filenames in advance. I can place the files in a folder all by themselves but need someone to modify the batch file so that everything in that directory gets PGPed.
I currently use PGP 6.5.8 by Network Associates for batch applications which do not need wildcards. However, for this new project I need wildcards and it does not allow me to use them. I have also looked at gnupgp and it does not support wildcards either. I also checked out MPGP and it supports wildcards but converts everything to 8.3 filenames. My files are longer than 8 characters and this application truncates the resulting .PGP filename.
I can supply my current batch file so all that needs to be done is edit the current one. Sample batch is enclosed. Right now I pause and then manually PGP the files with the GUI version and then continue (all manual).
