I am in need for a simple web based secure file transfer system. My basic thought on the system is that is should use the SSL function of IIS for encryption, MSDE or SQL for the database and pages written in ASPX. How the system should function: Installation should be a simple as unzipping the files, and running a SQL script in Query Analyzer to setup the database and required tables. Connection to database should be set in [login to view URL] file. Should have a very basic admin web page that allows for an administrator to set a trusted IP range, any browser coming in from a trusted IP isn't required to "login" to the system. Also allow the admin to delete any created repositories in the system. Admin page should be password protected either by placing the page in a separate subfolder and using IIS authentication on that folder or simple login name that checks the database to see if the fields match. User interface should be simple, if the browser is coming from a trusted IP range a "create repository" page should be displayed, this page will allow the user to create a temporary repository so that an external person can upload a large file via HTTP/HTTPS upload. The page should get the following info: Token Name, Token Password, what email to send the invite to and what email to send a notification once a file has been uploaded, also an expiration time on the repository. Basically to say that this repository is valid for 1 hour and after that to delete the repository and any content. Would also be nice if the user can specify HTTP upload or HTTPS upload. Once submitted the system should then email the person being invited with a link to the repository, repository should be a hashed ID, including the token name and password and expiration date, the same info should be sent to the originator as well. The person being invited will then click on the link which opens the repository and displays a simple "upload file" button. The invite will browse to the file and hit upload, the system will then HTTP/HTTPS upload the file to the system, I prefer is it was stored in the database as a blob or some to that affect. Do not want the file stored to disk. Once the file is done uploading the system then notifies the originator that "[login to view URL]" has arrived and ready to be retrieved. Discription continues in the Plateform section... ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform The originator clicks on the same repository link and the system checks to see if the IP is from a Trusted network, if from trusted network the system should just display a page with the a list of files to download and a button to delete the repository. Basically once the user is done transferring the file they can delete the repository. If the originator is coming from a non trusted IP they are then first presented with a login screen and they would use the same Login Token name and password as the person that uploaded the file. Backend system will be Windows 2003 Std Server using SQL 2000 database and IIS 6.0. Clients will be on Windows 2000 and XP using IE 5.x and up browsers
