Hello I have a wordpress website / blog (WordPress 3.3.1.) - I am having a very difficult time getting the Open Graph Tags to work properly for me. I would like to add them to my homepage and also to each unique post.
So that when someone copies the link from the home page to facebook it will show my thumbnail of choice, description and url. I am aware that all I need to do is place open graph tags on within head tag. However, this conflicts with each individual post. As when, a user 'likes' a unique post it still show's the home page url that is designated on the header.
I would like the 'like' button to show the 'featured' image for the post if a blog is liked but homepage to display the homepage link. I know it is possible but am having trouble troubleshooting this. I've tried every plugin and created an fb app but yet can't have exactly what i am looking for. The best i've been able to do is get the thumbnail and homepage url to show but not invidual post since they seem to conflict w the wordpress header code populating on each page.
