I am looking for a programmer/designer to create an assignment gallery stand-alone plugin I designed that will be used for an online class using WordPress and LearnDash LMS (see http://www.learndash.com/). The gallery needs to include various features (see attachment). It kind of looks like a Facebook gallery page. I may market this on the WordPress plugins directory. For details about this gallery, read the attached Word doc or visit http://iguanapaint.com/gallery-rfq/.
+++ Please take a look at the attached Word specs doc before contacting me or submitting a proposal.
+++ I will not consider offers that have not already read through the attached specs doc (or via the link above).
The budget listed here is an estimate. Please submit your best estimate (higher/lower). If you have further questions before offering a proposal, please ask.

I've been interviewing a few developers (thank you for all the interest!). Just about everyone sounds eager to do the work well and quickly, and many have experience. Selecting just one is difficult! For me, I need to see who has most experience (via feedback and bio), who can not just do what I ask/tell you, but who is willing to come up w even better solutions by truly taking an interest in what my goal is.
>> The truth is: YOU are the experts; I am not. I am depending on you for guidance and good work.
In the end, if there are a few developers who are equal, then it comes down to best price.
Thank you again for taking the time to read my info and make a proposal.
A few developers have asked what the purpose of the gallery is. You can find more info at
http://iguanapaint.com/rfq-school/. This is an art school for grades 6-12, and it needs to be intuitive, easy to use, sharp and sophisticated in design, and effective at dispensing information. The gallery is the centerpiece of it all.

> New inquiry re how the gallery will function in the art courses at IguanaPaint.com.
Q: WHAT DOES THE STUDENT SEE ON THE LESSON ASSIGNMENT PAGE?
A: I am not sure...yet. I think the answer will come as we develop this plugin. Here is the path: Art Course > Assignment Page > Link to uploading the student's image file to the Assignment Gallery > Photo Editor (if needed) > Upload to Gallery > Gallery (displaying all classmates' art also).
Q: WHAT WILL THE GALLERY UPLOAD PAGE LOOK LIKE?
A: Again, this is answered as we work on this project. If I can come up with a sample, I will post it at http://iguanapaint.com/gallery-rfq/

I have decided to combine this "Assignment Gallery Plugin for WP" with my other (not listed) project "IguanaPaint School Setup" project to ensure a smooth operation and to focus on not just the gallery, but to be 100% ready for students and classes. Updating the attachment doc is too cumbersome, but I have updated the RFQs for the two projects. Please read them at (http://iguanapaint.com/gallery-rfq/ and http://iguanapaint.com/rfq-school/).
I am inviting the contractors on my short list to take a look at the site (www.iguanapaint.com) and tell me what they would do to make it best in function, design, and navigation for both the public and school (courses) aspect. I am looking for VISION, EXPERIENCE/ABILITY, GOOD COMMUNICATION PRACTICES, TIMELINESS, FOLLOW-UP (how long will you update plugin in future), and PRICE as I make final decision on which developer/designer to use.
Thank you all again for your interest and kindness in our interactions.
