I have a simple 4 page static HTML website that lacks any CMS. I need it to be converted to Wordpress so I can manage the content of the site plus I need an additional functionality added to an already existing contact form.
The idea is as follow - people come to the site, select a topic they are interested in and write their questions and send it to the site. The site acts as a middle men between them and people who have the necessary knowledge to answer their question on a particular topic.
In the admin area I should be able to create for each topic a group of people with their names, job title (both for easy management purposes) and their email addresses. Each time someone chooses a particular topic and sends his question, the site will select the next person that belongs to the group serving this particular topic and pass on the question to him/her. The question will be given a unique ID number and saved in the database so that when the question gets passed on, the original visitors' details won't be passed on to the person from my group. The topic should include this unique ID for the process to work in an easy way. Once the person from my group responds to the question and hits the reply button in their email software, it will again be sent to the website that will look for this unique ID and find the email of the original sender and pass on the reply to him, again removing any trace of the person who replied. Each time someone asks a question from the same topic the site will move through the group and send the question to the next person on the list, so that each person receives equal amount of questions from the site. If the original visitor still has some additional questions then when he hits the reply the email will again be sent to the person who dealt with his original question (outside of the queue).
From the admin perspective there needs to be a functionality to:
add/remove/amend the topics
add/remove/amend the list of people responding to questions from a particular topic
Apart from that the site needs to allow for fully automated and anonymous exchange of emails between both parties in a queue fashion for each new question asked.
That's it. Thank you for reading.
