I am looking for a Wordpress developer to develop a Wordpress Options panel / themeframework for my wordpress website designs.
The idea developer would have experience :
1: with developing a theme and options page using the WordPress Settings API
2: in using the latest Responsive, Bootstap, CSS3 and HTML5 best practise
3: experience using Git for development
2: The ability to communicate effectively and regularly
Prospective Developers will need to show examples of themes options pages that they have created already. Developers with a theme in the Wordpress Repository that has an options page will be favored, as I may be submitting the theme to the Wordpress Repository
We will be using responsive ( http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/responsive ) as a starting point.
Developers will need to follow the following best practice guidelines must be incorporated:
Theme Settings defined as an options array in a single database entry
Theme settings added to a single, Tabbed Theme Settings Page using AJAX to limit reloads.
Theme Settings page is added to the "Appearance" menu
Theme Settings page added using the "edit_theme_options" user capability
Theme Settings registered, updated, and validated using the WordPress Settings API
Theme Settings modify the template using action/filter hooks wherever possible
Theme Settings support the Theme Customization API via add_theme_support()
I will provide the winning developer with actual themes and plugin examples of the features I would like incorporated into the framework. This is why I consider this a SIMPLE project
I will be offering awards to bidders in 4 Milestone payments of 25% each for:
25% - To commence project
25% - Proof of concept ie, tabs laid out, properly styled, options enabled\functioning
25% - Proof all Functions are working / minor tweaks
25% - project completion. Theme passes markup validation.
