Using YOURLS (http://yourls.org/) or equivalent software, the featured image on every Wordpress past and future blog post on [url removed, login to view] should have a [url removed, login to view] URL generated. I currently have YOURLS set up on [url removed, login to view] and it is working. Here is a detailed description of my requirements:
1. Every past and future Wordpress blog post has a featured image that should have a unique [url removed, login to view] YOURLS (or equivalent) shortened URL that visitors to the blog can use as a short URL to access the image. For instance:
http://www.reactiongifs.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/[url removed, login to view]
would be shortened to: [url removed, login to view] or similar.
2. Additionally every blog post should have its own shortlink as well.
For instance a post like this: http://www.reactiongifs.com/first-i-lold/
would be YOURLS shortened to this: [url removed, login to view]
This plugin did close to what I wanted:
However, I ran into a problem; with my W3 Total Cache plugin enabled, duplicate URLS were created for each page.
The solution needs to work with cloudflare and W3 Total Cache caching modules as not to produce duplicate short URLS. It also needs to be lean and not place any extra load on the server.
This could lead to more jobs, as I have lots of work to do.
