We are looking for a developer that can help us with our transition to a WordPress platform running the job board plugin Jobroller. We need the existing capabilities from our current site programmed into our new WordPress based site.
* Additional Features not included with jobroller that we need help implementing.
Repost ** change** The API requirements will be placed on hold for 2 to 3 months as this is not mission critical at this time.
API - Our current site allows our customers to access job postings remotely via XML, JS, or JSON. This would need to be developed. Currently we use an open source package that accomplishes the task. This needs to be implemented in WordPress. Examples and more information can be found at [url removed, login to view]
Feeds - We currently have four job aggregate sites that parse our database to update our jobs onto Indeed, Simply Hired, Juju, and twitjobsearch.com. This was custom developed a couple years ago and we need this capability in Wordpress to perform exactly as it does now including correct URL feed locations. Example [url removed, login to view] This is our feed that we send to simply hired to attract traffic to job postings.
Repost ** change** Twitter and Facebook integration will be placed on hold for 2 to 3 months again this is not critical for deployment.
Twitter and Facebook Employer Integration. This need to be implemented into the employer's dashboard section of our site. When an employer is logged into the site, they need to be able to open a job listing and have the option of sending a tweet or posting an update to their facebook page related to the current job listing they are working on. In addition they could have the option available to them from the active job list
URL enhancement. We need the new site to match our production environment as far as URL structure for jobs.
This is not working correctly in Jobroller format. We have the custom permalink structure set to //%post_id%/%postname%/ however the post_id seems invalid as the job listings do not actually show up as posts. Instead they show up under wp-admin as jobs. However in the database they are stored in the same place as posts.
Here is our environment.
Currently operating production site is located at [url removed, login to view] Server runs Ubuntu 10.X project has a git repo and uses Zend framework, Doctrine and Dwoo templates.
New development environment is located at http://statejob.jobshouts.com. Server is CentOS, Hostgator VPS
When development is complete we will move the DNS pointers and reconfig Wordpress to live at the old environment address.
You will have access to both sites source code and time to completion must be done by April 24th, 2013
