www.theaternetwork.com uses the WordPress 'Geo Places' theme from Templatic.com. This theme does not work perfectly. Your job is to perfect it. I have included a plugin called 'Geoposty', another called 'GTranslate' and another called 'WP-IP2Nation'. These will help you.
At the moment the theme expects me to fill out information about the 255 countries and 3400 cities of the world but this is unnecessary with geolocation software and plugins. As this website is an international classifieds website, it needs to filter information that is, by default, relevant to the city the user is in, or the location needs to be selected from a dropdown menu with flags, countries, states and cities or similar. At the moment the Search function asks for a location, but it doesn't work. This should autocomplete like on google maps or similar. The rest of the functions on the theme all link together so you can't focus on just one page - the whole theme needs to work the way it should.
I think the best solution would be to have the user select their location as a backup for auto geoIP, then all the results for classified ads and information will be within a radius in miles that I can set from the admin panel. The Geoposty plugin does a lot of this already. I want the user to receive location relevant information in their own language. Gtranslate plugin only translates when you choose a language. This should be automatic for the area, but must be intuitive like everything else. All the forms need to be changed as well so they are autofilled where possible and easier to use.
It will become clear when you look at it. There may be extra plugins available to help you at the wordpress.org website.
There are also other problems such as subcategories not being visible sometimes, categories not showing in the navbar unless they have a post in them, etc. You need to fix the website completely so it works properly at the admin end and at the user end.
