From what I can see, this project should be pretty fast for someone with a good knowledge of CSS and patTemplates. I need help in creating a horizontal menu in Joomla (v.1.5.7) whereby the submenu is also displayed horizontally. I have installed the Extended Menus module, working with the Suckerfish Horizontal menu plug-in. To see the current state of things please view the following page and rollover the main menu item ‘Aktivitäten’. [login to view URL] Here you see that the sub-menu is displayed as a vertical list. I had assumed that by adjusting the [login to view URL] for the menulist_2-suckerfish-horizontal ID styles, that I would have control at CSS level of how the sub-menu is displayed. What I have discovered is that the Suckerfish code calls up a page called [login to view URL] at [login to view URL] which presumably requires configuration. This uses patTemplate (see [login to view URL]). If you use the Extended Menu / Suckerfish method, it seems that you will also need to create separate CSS ID values for each submenu instance, since these are referred by menulist_1-suckerfish-horizontal, menulist_2-suckerfish-horizontal, etc for each parent menu item reading from left to right. So please therefore create all 10 CSS instances so that a submenu will work correctly under any of the main (parent) menu items. Once the sub-menu is successfully configured to be displayed horizontally I would like it centre aligned with the parent menu item. Please then adjust the actual CSS values for each menu and submenu link styles so that the end appearance is as in the attached graphic.
