Land Surveying Project Tracking System

Land Survey Project Tracking System: MS access or sql (msde with approval), Network workstation access with user level control (admin, power user, user, etc). We are a land survey brokerage company, providing services to corp. customers for multi-site survey projects. Our Employees will input data concerning projects that will include multiple sites scheduled for surveying within each project. Each project and child site will have multiple contacts for both our customers and our service providers. the ability to add customer profiles, service provider profiles, mutliple contacts under each type will be needed. The system will rely heavily on project milestones, such as project start date, documentation input, delivery dates, all should have color coded indicators as to their status. Project/Site note system should allow flexible entry of information including a date-time-user stamp either before each note. Backup and archiving of project will also be needed. XML or other web-based interface will be needed for client/provider review and other functions. A complete web-based system is a possibility. We have an existing system (MS access based) that will be used as a reference for design. Data in the existing system will need to be imported into the NEW system, by means of an importing routine or developer implementation. Printable reports required for projects/sites on customers and providers. Further information will be provided as project progresses. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows 2003 Server, Windows XP, Internet Explorer 6-7 Web-based interface.
