News RSS Feed

What I require is a system that will allow us to setup news feeds (RSS 1, RSS 2, or ATOM) and have it displayed on our website. That is not all though. We would like to take the seperate news feeds and setup a featured news, where it takes the top 5 clicked articles and displays those, or if no article has x amount of clicks it takes one from each news feed. The system will display a portion of each feed and have the ability to expand an entire feed. This system will have multiple instances on the same server, meaning different pages will have different feeds. The system must also be able to pull articles from the server directly if we wish to insert them. The system must pull the entire article so that we can host it on our site. It must be easy to customize the look of the display and each feed must be able to have a unique coloring. Good feeds to test with and some we will use are the DOD Feed, Army Feed, Navy Feed, Coast Guard Feed, Marine Feed, Airforce Feed. The system will be integrated into our current system so it must be class based and it will have a specific file system to follow that will be described to the coder after selection. We require the following above what RAC requires. You must place an update version of this on our server daily (M-F) so we can monitor progress. We own the copyright to this system, period. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform LAMP (PHP 5)
