About the Project:
The purpose of this project is to create a website where users will be able to manage their audio/video sermons stored on DropBox using the dropbox api.
The website would allow the user to upload as well as view their public folder from dropbox, play the existing files and manage them. Dropbox normally does not allow you to attach metadata to your audio files which is what the website needs to have. So it will call the files from dropbox but allow the users to easily attach audio information such as title, passage, date, speaker, description, series etc.
The website files would then feed the app, so the website would serve as a CMS and the app would be the main feature which users will use. There will be only one app for iphone, android including tablets. The users will then type in their church name and access their own custom page.
The website would need to allow for their own app branding where they can customise their own logo, color style etc., so when users download this generic app, and type in their church, it would be branded to that church. The main purpose being, accessing, streaming, downloading sermons on the go.
The website would need to also allow for sermon series, series images and this would get reflected in the app. The default page for the church in the app will be 'series' which will show the name and graphic, which you can then access and view the relevant audio/video files.
Requirements:
1. Website CMS for managing the audio/video files (files called from dropbox public folder so streaming can be done)
2. App for iphone and android
More details about features, look and feel will be supplied to the winning bidder. Also i welcome any ideas on improving the initial scope.
