Description

I am using asterisk
I have users who are using soft switches which can not pass a user id or password nor caller ID

I want to authenticate these users by just their caller ID

I am using trixbox
Asterisk may already have this option, just want someone to point me as to how to accomplish this tast

i'm a linux and voip consultant. i'm one of the moderators of the vicidial forum (http://www.eflo.net/VICIDIALforum/index.php) - a predictive dialer built on top of asterisk. i can make this happen.

Hi, my own company is an VSP (VoIP Service Provider) see: http://tel.gepard.net too. I have some user where I have to authenticate on a similar way (only using the IP number). I have 22 years computer and more than 10 years telecomunication experience. I can give you an example how to do it.
