I need to modify a popular t-e-l-l-a-f-r-i-e-n-d script modified to do the following:
1. Capture the emails that are pulled from Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc into a mySQL database. The script doesn't come with a mySQL database to store the invited email address. For example, when a user enters his email and password, it retrieves his contacts then sends out an invite, I want those email addresses stored in a mySQL database and it must store the name and email address.
2. Create admin and user account password protected back offices so that pulled names/emails can be viewed, and tracked as to how many visitors each email gets.
3. When t-e-l-l-a-f-r-i-e-n-d is executed, instead of just the email and password being inputed as it currently is, I would also like the following additional input fields included --> Name, Phone and URL. This way when the automatic email gets sent out to selected contacts, it will also be able to include these variable to send out a more personalized email... such as...
Message from $Name
Body of email:
Hi there, please visit the following $URL
for more information. Call me at $Phone
or email me anytime.
$Email (<--this is already a variable in the program)
4. Also, incorporate ability to important a simple csv file as an option with names and email addresses only. This way people can export their Thunderbird, Outlook Express, Outlook contacts and then import them into this program, so that it can mail out to them, using same interface, and same input variables Name, Phone and URL for personalization. So now this program can cover most all of the bases, including Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, and imported csv names/email addresses from Outlook, Outlook Express, and Thundebird too.
To review, I want one interface, so you can import your contacts from popular email programs (Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc like it already does), and the new input fields (Name, Phone and URL) to modify and personalize the email that gets sent out, and also the ability (choice) to import CSV file with names and emails, so one can import from Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird, or any email program that exports in CVS format.
