OsCommerce - Optimization of categories.php

Project Description:
To make it easier to edit a product I need to optimize categories.php....action=new_product

1) Today the page is long, very long.
I would like to have the texts packed together.
Just like grouping fields in excel.
Needs to be grouped: Text fields (pr. language), picturelinks, attributes

2) action=new_product_preview is a waste of time.
I need a new button which instantly approves all changes - just like the "update" button on action=new_product_preview

3) I need the date on which the product was added to be editable. (sometimes I add an old product which I don't want to show up on new products)

4) I have a short list description (Kort-liste tekst:) which is a HTML text field. I would like this to be changed to standard text field.

5) The pictures fields should also be grouped.
On page 1 I need:
Products Image (170):
Products Medium Image (300):
Products Large Image (500):
On page 2 I would like the rest.

6) The attributes should be grouped.
Preferabbly one page pr. attribute (or the solution which seems most logically)
