Project Description:
This isa relatively easy project coprised of 2 PHP scripts.
Script 1 - XML file maker - This script will need to parse a directory on the server and look thru all the sub directories to create an XML file that contains the URLS to a thumbnail and large version of an image. The directory/file structure will look like this:
root
.. sub1
.... color1
...... icon.gif
...... icon_big.gif
.... color2
...... icon.gif
...... icon_big.gif
... sub2
.... color1
...... icon.gif
...... icon_big.gif
.... color2
...... icon.gif
...... icon_big.gif
XML output should look something like:
where the attributes are the names of the folders parsed.
The purpose of this script is to allow an easy update to Script #2's output when new template screen shot folders are added.
Script 2 - Thumbnail Display Page.
This script will parse the file created above to create a thumbnail page of the templates in the folders. IMPORTANT: If a line has multiple colors, the script must select ONE color for the display and denote color options after image display (see below)
I should be able to specify the following options in the script somewhere.
1. Number of thumbs per row
2. Number of thumbs per page
The thumb page displays the thubmails, if a thumbnail is clicked it is opened in a popup window.
Output for thumb looks something like this:
Colors: ColorA,ColorB,ColorC
I have attached a sample file which inclues the directory structure and example files.
My max budget for this project is $100 and I need it tommorrow (10/25).
