Project Description:
We are running vBulletin and have it launched through an iFrame on our jsp/java application home page. We would like to have a way to log users directly into the vBulletin application based on the user's from IP address as they arrive at our jsp home page. Our jsp application that initiates the iFrame call for vBull page could pass along the username/password in the URL or as a cookie etc. Cookie may or may not work since I understand that cookies cannot cross domains and the jsp application is sitting at www.mycompany.net/app and the vbulletin application is on a different server at www.mycompany.com/forums.
We need someone who can develop whatever is needed in order to pass the URL or needed cookie setting in order to log into vBulletin. We will work with the jsp application to pass along the correct needed URL.
