72356 Perl Search Modification

Hello, I need a search modification done to a auction I am running. It is written in perl. Right now putting in the two words: Bronze Items results in the search saying, "I'm going to find all instances where the word Bronze is immediately followed by Items." So, could it be changed to say, "I'm going to find all the instances where either the word Bronze or the word Items is found." Then, if the searcher were to quote the words: "Bronze Items" as opposed to: Bronze Items, the search engine would then - and only then - say, "I'm going to find all instances wear the word Bronze is immediately followed by the word Items."
