Project Description:
This project is to write technical documentation for a large (~100,000 lines of code) web database application. The purpose of this documentation project is to provide a comprehensive system specification, as a first step towards re-writing the entire application.

Therefore you will need to document every function of the system, say what it does, or what it is supposed to do - there are undoubtedly errors in the code, and we want to know where they are - and show clearly what each script is doing and how they fit together. Also note that some scripts are probably not being used at all, and in other cases there may be significant duplication of functionality - again, we need to know what's working, what's not working and what needs to be programmed more efficiently.

You will need to demonstrate a thorough understanding of Perl/CGI, dynamic HTML, MySQL and Linux/Apache server, in addition to excellent technical writing skills, if you are serious about winning this project.
