Project Description:

We are looking to create a photo-books; calendars, cd/dvd covers, post cards, posters, and other photo gifts websites where the user is able to log on, upload his photos, drop them into already set photo book themes, and order it for printing. Also we want the option this software to download, if customers want to work offline. Software must be able to Windows, Mac, Linux.

On completion the customer can save the produced files and they will be in pdf format that will be uploaded to the server. The order depending on what products have been chosen will also be calculated to the server and the customer directed to the paypal account prior to upload.... basically when they are done i want an admin page that will display the order, file name/location, customer details , and payments recieved


The software must allow those who use it to be guided through each step and given clear instructions regarding what they need to do.

Step 1: Choose the product (photo book, calendar, post card etc )
Step 2: Registration (only mail and password)
Step 3: Choose between themes, templates, size of book, type of cover, number of pages
Step 4: Upload photos
Step 5: Make a photo album.
Option to choose the text (type of fonts, size, bold205.), option to crop the photos, make them black and white, fix red eyes, B/W & sepia photo, alarm when the photo is not with good pix, insert background etc.
Step 6: Save option: any time and return to it later
Step 7: Book preview/ slide show
Step 8: Calculate the price depends of the criteria of the customer. Pay & check out/ Shopping Cart/ => confirmation notice. Pay pall option.

Admin interface to change pricing / server/ gateway options.

Will more than likely run in a joomla site but not absolutely necessary. If it functions as i want it to then I'm happy.
