We have been publishing the guidebook for many years and we are now updating old mono images.
PRICING BASE ON 500 IMAGES UPDATED
WE WILL PAY ON PER IMAGE PRICE WHEN FINISHED
Numismatic Guidebook: Source and replace images
• FTP Client or other system for file transfer (e.g. Dropsend/Yousendit)
The book is half colour and half mono.
There are at least 500 images to be updated from mono to colour.
This must be done manually, as old images are TIF files (some with short names) and new images will be jpg.
PART 1 (Browser + Photoshop)
Source image from website (addresses supplied)
"Save image as"
Note slightly different name!!! PM2012-GC$2-05g-Mini-Roo-Rev.jpg
More detail on renaming will be available to successful applicant.
Save images as correctly named files into specific folders.
All images will be jpg.
Ensure all images are centred in equal sided box.
Do not compress images.
Do not convert to CMYK.
PART 2 (InDesign)
Replace old mono images by drag and drop – good to have two monitors for this part
Drag and drop is safest way to do this – use InDesign on left and Explorer/Finder/Bridge on right to drag new image onto old one and replace image
Do not change layout
Do not change style or fonts
Image changes only
Note: Always save file as new version so you have multiple backup NumismaticiGuide-A.indd, NumismaticiGuide-B.indd etc
PART 3 (Approval Process)
Upload PDF by FTP.
PART 4 (Upload)
Zip all images & InDesign files into one or more ZIP files and upload by FTP.
